We’re proud to have completed a high‑performance commercial solar PV installation for Evans Transport Ltd, a well‑known local haulage and aggregates company committed to cutting carbon emissions and energy costs.

---

The Project at a Glance

To meet the high energy demands of their transport operations, Evans Transport chose a system designed to maximise solar energy generation, reduce reliance on the grid, and future‑proof their business.

System Specifications:

Solar Panels: 78 × DMEGC 450W all‑black monocrystalline solar panels

Total PV Capacity: 35.1 kWp

Panel Optimisation: S100 SolarEdge power optimisers for every panel

Inverter & Monitoring: 33.3 kW SolarEdge inverter with Modbus meter for real‑time monitoring

Battery Storage: 3 × 10 kWh Powervault P5 smart batteries (30 kWh total) with Smart Store technology

---

High‑Efficiency Solar Panels for Maximum Output

The DMEGC all‑black 450W panels deliver exceptional efficiency and visual appeal. Paired with SolarEdge S100 power optimisers, each panel’s performance is individually monitored and optimised, ensuring maximum yield even with partial shading.

---

Smart Inverter & Real‑Time Energy Monitoring

The 33.3 kW SolarEdge inverter combined with a Modbus meter allows Evans Transport to see exactly how much solar energy they’re producing, how much they’re using, and how much is stored — all in real time.

---

Powervault Battery Storage for Energy Independence

Three Powervault P5 batteries provide a total of 30 kWh of energy storage. With Smart Store technology, the system intelligently charges and discharges based on the business’s usage patterns and tariff rates, helping to reduce peak electricity costs and maximise savings.

---

Key Benefits for Evans Transport

Lower Energy Bills – Reduced reliance on the grid and peak‑time energy purchases.

Energy Independence – Store and use solar energy when it’s needed most.

Lower Carbon Emissions – Supporting sustainability in the transport and aggregates industry.

Future‑Ready – Scalable system ready for EV charging integration.

---

Driving Sustainability in the Transport Industry

This installation shows how commercial solar PV with battery storage can deliver huge benefits to energy‑intensive businesses. Evans Transport is now well‑positioned to make significant long‑term savings, reduce CO₂ emissions, and take control of their energy future.

If your business is ready to cut energy costs, reduce carbon emissions, and embrace renewable energy, our expert team can design and install the perfect solution — just as we did for Evans Transport.
